Does Mezdoc verify work eligibility?

No. Mezdoc fills the I-9 from the new hire's answers. Your team still examines the documents and completes the employer section.

Can new hires sign on a phone?

Yes. The link works in any phone or desktop browser with no account, and the signature is drawn, typed or uploaded. One signature fills every signature line in the packet.

Does it connect to our HR system?

Through the API and webhooks. Your system sends the data it has and receives each PDF, with a signed webhook when a packet or render is ready. There is no built-in connector to a specific HR product.

Does Mezdoc file W-2s or 1099s?

No. Mezdoc fills the copies from your payroll data. Filing with the IRS and the states stays with you or your payroll provider.
