logistics

From the load in your TMS to a signed bill of lading.

Rate confirmations, bills of lading, delivery receipts and invoices, filled from the shipment record you already have. Drivers sign on a phone, and your TMS hears about each PDF by webhook.

The paperwork along a load.

Five documents, one shipment record. Each is a template you upload or write once.
  1. Tender

    Rate confirmation

Rendered from the load and sent to the carrier to sign by link.

  2. Carrier setup

    Carrier packet

Agreement, W-9 and a certificate request, answered once and signed once.

  3. Pickup

    Bill of lading

Shipper, consignee and every line item, filled from the shipment record.

  4. Delivery

    Delivery receipt

The driver or receiver signs on a phone; the signed PDF comes back to you.

  5. Billing

    Invoice

Charges and accessorials laid out the same way on every invoice.

Ten shipments a day or ten thousand, same call.

Render each document with one call. Add ?async=true for a 202 and a signed webhook when the PDF is ready, and an idempotency key so a retried batch never makes a second BOL.

Questions from logistics teams.

Can drivers sign on a phone?

Yes. Send the driver or the receiver a link. It opens in any phone browser with no app or account, and the signature is drawn, typed or uploaded. The signed PDF and its record come back to you, with a webhook to your system.

Does Mezdoc file customs entries or track shipments?

No. Mezdoc fills the documents from the values your system sends. Filing, tracking and customs decisions stay with your team, your broker and your TMS.

What happens when a shipment has hundreds of line items?

A loop fills one row per item, up to 10,000 rows, and the table continues across pages with the header and footer repeated. Page numbers come from {{page}} and {{pages}}.

Start with the BOL you print most.

Upload it or write it once, send it one shipment, and see the PDF before you connect anything.
