Terms of Service.

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of Mezdoc's platform, websites, and APIs (the "Service"). By creating an account or sending an API request, you agree to these Terms.
1. Your account
You must be 16+ and able to enter into a binding contract. You're responsible for the security of your credentials, the actions of users within your organization, and the content you upload.
2. Acceptable use
- No fraud, no impersonation, no generating documents you don't have rights to issue.
- No reverse engineering of the rendering pipeline.
- No abuse of the free tier (multiple accounts to evade limits).
- No content that violates law in the regions you operate.
3. Subscription & fees
Plans are described on our pricing page. Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled. Overage on usage tiers is billed at the published per-document rate. Indian customers are billed in INR by our India entity with GST.
4. Your content & data
You retain ownership of everything you upload. You grant Mezdoc a narrow license to process it solely to provide the Service. We don't train models on your content. See the Privacy Policy.
5. Mezdoc IP
The Service, including the editor, compilers, and documentation, is licensed not sold. The Mezdoc trademark, logo, and product names belong to Mezdoc, Inc.
6. Confidentiality & security
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your data, including SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, and pen-testing. Reach out at our contact page for the current security overview.
7. Disclaimers & liability
The Service is provided "as is" except as expressly stated. Mezdoc's aggregate liability is capped at the amounts paid by you in the prior 12 months. Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits - if you live somewhere that doesn't, the cap is the maximum permitted by law.
8. Termination
You can cancel any time from the dashboard. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms after written notice (immediately, in cases of fraud, abuse, or security risk).
9. Governing law
For customers based in India, these Terms are governed by the laws of India, with exclusive jurisdiction in Bengaluru. For all other customers, the State of Delaware, USA, with exclusive jurisdiction in Wilmington, DE.
10. Changes
We'll email administrators at least 30 days before any materially adverse change. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the new Terms.
